Towering over the shores of Town Lake, the Hyatt Regency Austin is located near many of Austin Texas' attractions, including the historic State Capitol Complex, and the nightclubs of Sixth Street and the Warehouse district. The hotel is located just seven miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and is adjacent to Palmer Auditorium. Hotel Features. A lakeside pool, spa tub and sundeck provide scenic views of Town Lake and the city skyline. The hotel's health club houses cardiovascular and weight-training equipment, and free weights. Experienced staff organize functions in the hotel's 23,000 square feet of flexible event space. On-site dining options include the Southwest Bistro that serves buffet breakfasts, and a la carte lunches and dinners. Branchwater Patio Bar offers al fresco dining via a terrace overlooking the lake, or indoors next to a flowing stream. The lounge is known for its margaritas and quiet, dimly lit atmosphere. Guestrooms. Hyatt Regency Austin's 447 guestrooms feature commanding city or lake views enhanced with Southwestern-themed decor. Rooms are equipped with coffeemakers, whereas refrigerators and microwave ovens are available on request. Laptop-compatible in-room safes are complimentary. High-speed wired and wireless Internet access is available for a fee. Hyatt Grand Beds feature pillowtop mattresses. Expert Tip. More than 10 miles of trails lead from the hotel and extend along the banks of Town Lake. The paths pass Austin landmarks such as Zilker Park, Barton Creek and the Congress Avenue Bridge, where the largest urban colony of bats roost seasonally.
